This is a tech survey that was circling around Youtube awhile ago. Created by iHarrison30. Taken by famous Youtubers like Jon4Lakers. And I though I'd bring it to a blog. Here we go......


1. What is the main OS you use today - OS X Leopard for Mac

2. How many desktops do you own - One iMac (the white one with iSight) Its the family computer

3. How many Laptops do you own - One 13in Mac Book Pro - My personal computer

4. What is the highest spec system you currently use - MacBook Pro

5. What is the highest spec system you have ever used - MacBooko Pro

6. Which piece of software do you run, that is the most system hungry i.e Photoshop, Final Cut etc. - The Sims 3

7. Software you use for photo editing - iPhoto and PhotoShop altough I rarely use each and I dont have PS on my Laptop yet

8. Software you use for Movie editing - Haven't yet but I plan to use iMovie

9. What is your current web browser - FireFox

10. Is your current browser the best you have ever used, if not; which was - Yes

11. Which do you prefer Mac OSX, MS Windows, Linux, Unix, BeOS or any other - Mac OSX

12. If you have used windows before which has been your favorite version, i.e Win 95, Win 98 etc. - I have never owned a Windows System

13. If you have used Mac's before which has been you favorite version, i.e OS9, Panther, Tiger etc - Leopard for sure

14. Do you have any Tech related qualifications - Hell No.

15. Out of all the technology revolutionaries, who do you most think inspires you. (S. Jobs, B. Gates, S. Wozniak, P. Allen etc etc) - Steve Jobs

16. If you could have any gadget in the world not yet invented to help you what would it be and do for you. - It seems everything has been invented these days....

17. Which search engine do you use - Google

18. What is your favorite Apple product of all time - iPod Touch and Macbook Pro (tie)

19. Have you ever tried a Linux distribution - I hardly even know what it is....

20. Can you program and if so what languages - I know a bit a BBCode just from simple forums

21. Have you ever developed your own Web Page or for another person - Ive tried and may try again

22. Which Office suite do you use, MS Office, Neo, Lotus 123 etc - I used to use office, and I use it at school. But I have iWork on my laptop (Office on the iMac)

23. Have you ever opened a Laptop to repair or upgrade - No but I might in the future

24. Do you own an iPhone or iPod Touch - Touch

25. If you answer yes to above what is you favorite App for the iPhone or iPod Touch - facebook

26. Do you hold stocks with a Technology Company, just Yes or No, no personal details. - No

27. What do you see for the future of Technology. - I see great things, I think everyone will become one with technology

28. Do you have a network running in your Home - I dont think so.

29. Favorite Computer related movie - hmm... idk

30. What is your opinion of the Apple logo - Very nice actually

31. What is your opinion of the Windows logo. - Its alright I guess

32. Do you own a Tech Tool Kit for computers - I think I do although I never use it

33. Which games consul do you prefer - PS3

34. How long have you been using computers for - Ive been using them hardcore since '06 maybe, I've had one for many years before though ('06 is when my family first got DSL)

35. Do you have external Storage backing up your work. - No I may invest in it in the future though.

36. Is your network wireless or hard line - Mostly Wireless

37. Do you use your computer for your main source of income (No personal details) - Oh man I wish

38. Would you class yourself as a Geek - Ha, Yeah

39. Would you class your computer usage as an obsession - To an extend, possibly

40. Have you watched Pirates of Silicon Valley and if so what did you think. - No but I really do want to see it
